Sumptuous metal
In order to create multi-medium objects and projects, we learn to observe and dream the potentiel of materials.
We worked on an upcycling process which explores new aesthetics of a very common material: an aluminium can. We first sanded and cut it into pieces. These were coated with an algae based paint mixed with pigments and a natural dammar varnish. Then we carved and embellished each piece by hand. And that’s how we turned the can into a precious and versatile material.
